Reading Appoint Jones.

New Place Of Work For Jones.
Reading Football Club have announced the signing of Daniel Jones to become there new manager after McDermott was sacked just 1-2 days ago. Jones is an inexperienced manager but with a lot of potential. Jones joins Reading as the time where they have been out of the Premiership 2 seasons after being relegated by just 3 goals in the 2007/08 season. Obviously Reading didn't notice how hard it would be. First season back in the Championship they finished 4TH and got a tie in the play offs against now Championship side Burnley which they lost 0-3 on aggregate. The second season back they finished a disappointing 9TH after a second half of the season comeback. In January last season they found there selves in 23RD position in the table staring at the barrel of Relegation again, but Reading kicked on and kept winning which meant they flew up the table. This season Reading will finally be looking to reach the Premiership again. If they do, it will be there 3RD ever season in the top flight.

Jones' contract is a annual one, which if he does good, will be renewed for 2 seasons. Jones is apparently got around £1.5 Million to spend in the transfer market on players that will take them up. But the loan market is always there with young, quality talent. Jones may not have to spend all £1.5Million on players as he has a good squad here as it is with some young gems. Such as Simon Church prolific goalscorer, Matt Mills no nonsense defender & Jimmy Kebe, the Messi from Mali.
